To Register as a Remitter :

  • Sign up for the mobile banking service offered by the bank.
  • Obtain your Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) and MPIN from the bank.
  • Download the mobile banking application (Make sure it is compatible with your mobile device) or use the SMS facility on your mobile phone.

To Register as a Beneficiary to Receive Money :

  • Link your mobile number to your bank account.
  • Obtain a 7-digit Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) from your bank.
  • Share your mobile number and MMID with the person sending you money.
  • Request the sender to remit the money using your mobile number and MMID.
  • Check SMS indicating the credit to your account from the remitter.

To Send Money, Steps to be Followed :

  • Log in to the application and select the IMPS menu from the IMPS options or use the SMS facility on your mobile phone if your bank supports IMPS via SMS.
  • Obtain the beneficiary's mobile number and MMID.
  • Enter the beneficiary's mobile number, beneficiary MMID, amount, and your MPIN to initiate the transfer.
  • Wait for an SMS indicating the debit from your account and credit to the beneficiary's account.
  • Make sure to note the transaction reference number for any future enquiries.
  • Share your mobile number and MMID with the individual sending you money.
  • Request the remitter to use your mobile number and MMID to transfer the money.
  • Check for an SMS indicating the credit to your account from the sender.
  • Note the transaction reference number for future reference.
