Green PIN :

Green PIN Solution :

"Green PIN " is now available for immediate use by our customers through two channels : The Sarvatra Card Safe app and Our Bank's ATMs. You can find the official bank app on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Microsoft Store.

Green PIN। Process Flow :

  • The Green PIN initiative allows existing and new Debit Card Holders to generate their ATM PIN without paperwork.
  • Account holders can set their ATM PIN by visiting any ATM connected to the bank’s network. This service is also available for Debit Card holders who forget their existing ATM PIN, eliminating the need to visit the branch or wait for a PIN mailer.

Features :

  • A 4 digit OTP (One-Time Password) is generated and sent to the customer’s registered mobile number (RMN) for validation.
  • The OTP is more secure, as it is sent only to the customer’s registered mobile number.
  • If the PIN is forgotten, customers can immediately set a new PIN at any of the bank’s ATMs or by logging into the Sarvatra Card Safe App.
  • Green PIN saves time and cost for the bank by eliminating the need for PIN mailer printing and dispatching and saves the customer’s valuable time.
  • The OTP expires after a set time (3 hours) and supports both Personalized and Insta Cards.

Green PIN Operation :

ATM Channel :

To reset your ATM PIN using the Green PIN option, please follow these steps :

1) Select the 'Green PIN' option on the 'Select Language' screen of the  ATM.

2) On the next screen, you will see two options : Generate OTP and Enter OTP.

3) If this is your first time generating an OTP, select the 'Generate OTP' option and enter your complete account number when prompted.

4) The system will check if your registered mobile number is linked to your account. A 4 digit OTP will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number via SMS -

“Dear Customer, your PIN Change OTP is XXXX. Never share OTP with anyone. Bank never calls to verify OTP”.

5) Once you receive the OTP, enter it on the ATM screen to confirm your identity.

6) After the successful entry of the OTP, you will see a success screen on the ATM. Don't share your OTP with anyone, as the bank will never ask for it over a phone call.

After Completing This Activity , The Customer Should Set The Necessary PIN For Their ATM Card As Follows :     

1) Select the 'Green PIN' option available on the 'Select Language' screen .Then choose the 'Enter OTP' option from the ATM screen.                                 

2) A new screen will appear where the customer should enter the OTP delivered to their registered mobile number.                                                                       

3) Once the OTP is validated, a new screen will be displayed where the customer should set the required new PIN with confirmation.                                         

4) At this stage, all the activities for Green PIN have been completed. The ATM screen will show the successful completion of the process of generating a new PIN. The customer can now start using the ATM card with the newly generated PIN.

At Sarvatra Card Safe App Channel : 

To set a new PIN for your ATM card using the Sarvatra Card Safe App, follow these steps :

1) Select the 'Set PIN' option in the Sarvatra Card Safe App.

2) Enter your 12-digit account number, card expiry details, and CVV number.

3) Click on 'Generate OTP'.

4) You will receive a 4-digit OTP via SMS to your registered mobile number. The SMS will look like this :

"Dear Customer, your PIN Change OTP is XXXX. Never share OTP with anyone. Bank never calls to verify OTP".

5) Once you receive the OTP, enter it in the app and set your new PIN. After completing the process, you will see a message confirming the successful generation of your new PIN.

6) You can now start using your ATM card with the new PIN.
